The Best Time to Book a Hot Air Balloon Tour in Cappadocia, Turkey

During the summer months of June, July and August, winds are not as strong and the weather is clear. Not going during these times could risk bad weather/windy conditions and trips to potentially be cancelled or delayed. Always make sure to book ahead of time, as this activity does sell out on a daily basis. I suggest planning your hot air balloon excursion for the first morning you are staying in Cappadocia because if winds are too strong and it would get cancelled, you can get a new flight for the next day. Its rare for cancellation during the summer months, although it’s always good to plan ahead to be safe rather than sorry! 

Get ready to go to bed early because you will be picked up between 3:30 and 4:00 am.
