A Must do Excursion While in the Bahamas

A Must do Excursion While in the Bahamas

You’ve seen the photos all over the internet already and asked yourself where the heck do I get to feed swimming pigs, go in a lagoon with sharks and see uninhabited sandbars?! While this once-in-a-lifetime adventure is Sailing the Exuma Cays in the Bahamas!

This tour ABSOLUTELY needs to be on your bucket list something you have to do when you go to the Bahamas. This tour is one of the most popular tours that the Bahamas offers.

How Much Does it Cost?

This tour costs about $400. I know what you're already thinking. That's A LOT of money and I know. It’s definitely not the most budget-friendly, but being one of the best unique experiences I’ve had when traveling, I highly recommend you budget for this tour and just do it or you’ll regret it. Like I said people will specifically go to the Bahamas just to do this tour.

In Order to Save Money for the Tour, Make sure to stay in Nassau and do a day trip to the Exuma Cays vs. staying in the Exuma Cays.

Staying in the Exuma Cays is extremely expensive and you will still have to pay for a tour regardless, so if you still want the experience I would opt for doing a day trip from your resort in Nassau to save as much as you can.

You can check out Nassau hotel recommendations in my previous post

I would highly recommend taking this tour with Viator. It was decently priced with lunch included as well. The group was not too big either and the tour did not feel rushed.

If you decide to book with your resort, all you have to do is ask them about the Exuma cays tour and they will know what you mean. :) The prices may be slightly higher if you book with the resort, so you will have to compare with the tour I did.

I hope this article was helpful! Please feel free to comment or ask me any questions regarding your upcoming trip. For more information about traveling to the Bahamas, you can book a consultation call with me or request a custom itinerary by heading to this page. Happy traveling!

  • I thought this trip was for rich people LOL but after reading this and looking at Ari’s recommendation for this same excursion I am so happy to know that I will be able to afford to do this too
